Back of the Book Blurb #97 Challenge

From Sioux's PageSioux offers this challenge.

She posts a picture and you need to imagine it as a graphic for a book. You choose the genre and book title, and then write a blurb that might appear on the back of the book.

The blurb should be 150 words or less (not including the title). The genre is wide-open.
Each blogger should include their blurb on their own blog, and link back to this post. Have fun with it. Go to the other posts and comment on the other blurbs.  You can do fancy techy things with the photo.

(Join in if you dare...! It sounds like fun! I think this would be a lot of fun to do with students especially since they would be expected to write 150 words or less!)

On Vacation

Nick insisted on going on vacation! He just finished the busiest season at work and he deserved it. But the head elf and his wife were against it. They were worried about the attention it would draw and what people would think.

He said that he would go on a secret vacation and go incognito. No bodyguards, no assistants, just himself. He was going on a Caribbean cruise! He could just picture himself sitting on the beach, sunning himself.

And when someone comes up to him and asks him if he is Santa, he is going to just tell them that he is a lookalike. No one would think that Santa would be on a cruise! They would think he was hard at work at the North Pole getting ready for the next Christmas season.

He couldn’t wait to start on this new adventure! First, he had to start packing. (150 words)
